Is Laser Hair Removal Health Care? We’ll Have to Wait and See…

The Ghazali laser-hair-removal case is done

The Court had set Basith Ghazali, M.D. v. Brown, No. 10-0232 for oral argument in September. The case asked how the Texas medical-malpractice statute applied to laser hair removal — an issue on which the Dallas Court has also weighed in.

When argument day came, the parties asked the Court to postpone the argument pending a possible settlement. Today, the Court granted the parties' joint request to dismiss the case.

    Thanks for sharing. I had been going to laser hair removal for my face, but after over $1000 (monthly for a year) my facial hair is still there. I not sure if it's the place I was going (just opened) or it was just me. I'm very light skin and my hairs are dark. I was thinking of buying one for at home, can't waste my money more than going there. This sounds great!

    Sometimes regrowth takes place even after laser hair removal, which indicates laser hair removal is not 100% permanent.

    Do not waxing, tweezing and electrolysis at least 3 weeks. Stop bleaching or plucking for 2 weeks before laser hair removal treatment.
